Yeah, I know. We lost 2-0 in 15. But this game was just another in a long line of classic confrontations over the many, many years which make the Boston Red Sox & New York Yankees the best rivalry in all of sports.
Each lineup is packed with power. Each pitch is critical in working the count. Every umpire's ball or strike call means something. Both defenses usually execute one or two sensational plays in the field, a la J.D. Drew last night & Jacoby Ellsbury the night before.
We came out on the short end last night. But it will be another battle tonight. There's nothing like Red Sox - Yankees.
