It was an ugly 3-1 win over the Orioles tonight, but it was a win.
Again, great defense & excellent pitching. The offense scored 3 runs on a single, sac fly & fielder's choice. We'll take it. We'll take the win.
Brad Penny made a strong statement that he should remain in the starting rotation going 6+ innings with no earned runs. Delcarmen, Okajima & another dirty save for Pap closed the game out.
We should see the debut of newly acquired LaRoche tomorrow night.
