The Red Sox lost 2 out of 3 in Toronto over the weekend. Jon Lester pitched well enough to earn a win in the series finale on Sunday, but he was outdueled by Roy Halladay. Halladay's stock keeps going up on the trade market.
As the Sox roll into Texas with a one game lead over the Yankees, I think it's time for John Smoltz to step-up & get a much needed win for the club. He has had enough starts now to put everything together. Ex-teammate Kevin Millwood will be opposing him.
It's Smoltz's time to shine now.

Time for the hitters to step as well. They did not do well scoring runs this weekend. Texas has a strong hitting team and if they get into our bullpen, we could soon be chasing the Yankees. SB
