NL Loses Again

Other than the Phillies & Cardinals winning recent World Series, the National League has shown themselves to be inferior to the American League. They lose another All-Star game 4-3 & go home losers for the 12th time in recent memory.

Inter-league play also bears out a superiority by the AL clubs. Combined win-lose records for all inter-league games is highly skewed in favor the Americans. The difference of a DH versus no DH gives the AL a more aggressive hitting philosophy over the NL style of 1 run at a time. The difference has been showing up more & more in recent years. NL pitchers coming to the AL usually produce higher ERA's.

Should the NL change to allow a DH? Should the AL go back to no DH? Either way, the difference between the leagues will continue & it may not be a bad thing. Fans get to see different philosophies & different styles of play.
