Red Sox 7, Yankees 3. It was almost like deja vu from Monday night.
Jason Bay hit another big home run, this time a 3-run shot in the 1st. Josh Beckett pitched well enough to keep the Yankees offense down to 3 runs over 6 innings. And the bullpen was terrific.
The Red Sox are doing to the Yankees what Tampa Bay has done to the Red Sox. Some teams just have your number. The Sox now head home to face Cleveland & Tampa Bay.
Finally, you have to love Eck as a commentator for NESN. Hair & cheese are just a couple of his words to describe pitches.
