Drew's Back Stiff Already

J.D. Drew did some off-season strengthening of his back, but Day 1 of Spring Training may be a prelude to the entire 2009 season. Drew reported stiffness in his back. It's been the same problem throughout his first 2 years in Boston.

The Red Sox are a much scarier offensive team with Drew in the middle of the lineup. Problem is you just can't count on him to be there due to his disc problem. Last June was a little reminder of just how good he can be as he carried the team in David Ortiz' absence.

Did the Red Sox buy damaged goods? We'll see as we have 3 more years to go on Drew's 5-year contract.

No comment on Drew except for the fact that the Sox knew he was damaged goods when they got him. We cannot rely on him period.
Let's talk some more about A-Roid. What a pathetic press conference. His "cousin" got the stuff for him. They were young and innocent and didn't know what they were doing. YEAH! And I have a financial tip from Bernie Madoff. He knew exactly what he was doing. I would even doubt that 2003 was the end of it. He's REALLY sorry. Sorry he got caught!

C'mon Steve........They are all sorry........once they get caught. They are all idiots...and I don't mean the Sox 'idiots'. Look at Tejada, A-Rod, Giambi, Pettite....does anyone think they would be sorry if their names never came out? I can't wait for the 103 other names to come out. I bet Nomar is on the list. I guess Canseco really knows what he's writing about.
