As Casey says,"it ain't over till it's over."
The fans of Red Sox Nation were treated to another October gem last night in Game 5. Instant classic -- I'd say so.
It's seemed like a night for the lefties -- Coco, Kotsay, Big Papi & J.D. Drew twice. Jon Papelbon & Justin Masterson closed the door for the final 3 innings. Meanwhile, the Rays bullpen imploded.
My contention all along is that the Red Sox have already overachieved this year by making the playoffs & beating the LA Angels of Anaheim in the first round. They just had too many injuries to overcome & suspect starting pitching to go this far. And yet they have. And here we go with another Game 6.
The sleeping giants on offense for the Sox are awake now. The Rays are coming back down to earth. Are the sun, the moon & the stars aligning again?
