Did you see the camera shots of fans around Fenway Park last night? Did it remind you of anything?
I saw men, women & children with that wrinkled forehead, like a major migrane headache was coming on. It was a look that I remember all too well -- the pre-2004 fan look.
Fans saw opportunity after opportunity slip away last night & eventually saw a loss occur. It was reminiscent of the Sox of old, the Sox who never won the big game, the Sox who broke your hearts, your parents' hearts & your grandparents' hearts.
But fear not. We know how to win now as evidenced in 2004 & 2007. This is the 1st series loss in 6-weeks since the Manny trade. All things considered, this has been an excellent season-long performance by the Bosox & we are well positioned to go back to the playoffs.
162 games is a long season. We are coming down the stretch with healthy players & a strong bench. Remember -- we are the defending World Series champs. Been there. Done it. Keep the faith, fans. Keep the faith.

I keep having this dream, and Buckner's on first.
