Ellsbury Nights, Lowries Week

It looks like Jacoby Ellsbury listened to Ken Macha on the NESN pre-game show.  Ken was saying that Jacoby should shoot fastballs to left by staying on the ball longer &, as a result, pull change-ups to right when he gets fooled.  Ells did that & more with a couple of hits plus a 3-run HR to center that sealed last night's victory.  Add an amazing acrobatic catch is short center field at a critical time & you can say that Ellsbury is coming out of his rookie slump.  Look for Tito to move him back to leadoff in Chicago.

And how about the RBI production from Jed Lowrie this past week.  First out of the 7-hole & then from the 2-spot last night, Lowrie came up with big hits all week.  His bat has allowed Big Papi & Mike Lowell to nurse their injuries as they get more AB's under their belts.

Nice job, player development people, to add 2 more contributing youngster to the starting lineup.
