Walking David Ortiz intentionally to get to Kevin Youkilis didn't workout so good for the Rangers last night. Youk promptly hit the game winning 3-run homer, his 2nd of the night.
Might this be the beginning of a new era of Big Papi - Youk versus Big Papi - Manny in the 3-4 spots in the order. It certainly looks like this duo will continue there for the rest of this season.
Mike Lowell seems to hit better in the 5 hole. J.D. Drew & Big Papi would make 2 lefties in a row & easier to manage against. Speaking of Mike Lowell, let's hope that he is not out for the rest of the season.
Manny -- we're surviving just fine without you.

i think that thew sox batting order is great!!! Youk has proved this season that he can hit and that he is a great player. having him hit behing ortiz is a great thing. tito really hit a home run with this order. i think youk is a natural cleanup hitter. pitchers beware of this combo!!!!
